Yoga at Home

When a person experiences trauma, it is “soul crushing.” They often disconnect from their body and the accompanying feelings get frozen inside. 

In session, I facilitate integration of these missing parts of the wounded soul that are split off during trauma so one can feel whole and vibrant.
The meditations using active imagination and inner child work are gentle and change the way the brain responds to the memory in a transformative and gentle way and reach the inner world in a way that other kinds of talk therapy and trauma therapy cannot. I highly recommend this for healing more quickly and less painfully than imaginable. This work is moving, healing, meaningful and enlightening to everyone who experiences it. 
 

Who experiences trauma? People who have had one traumatic event or people who have experienced ongoing trauma growing up, people with learning differences, and people living in survival mode, where fight/flight/fright is in control. It keeps people from thinking clearly and functioning optimally.

This type of alternative healing is appropriate for ages 6 and up.
 

The methods I teach can be accessed and used throughout the day to reset the nervous system to achieve a sense of equilibrium.
 

This can be used as an addition to therapy, integrated into your therapy with another therapist, or as part of a short term or ongoing therapy process with me.
